Live Painting at NABJ

This past Thursday was my first time going to New Orleans. I didn’t really have much time to sight-see, check out the live music, or do all types of rambunctious stuff that I would have loved to do. Philly 360 held a reception at the National Association of Black Journalists convention, and as one their Creative Ambassadors, I was asked to paint portraits of Jeff Bradshaw and Marsha Ambrosious.
I had a good time. Met some folks. Ate a fried shrimp po boy. Hung out with Jeff Bradshaw, who has been added to my list of ‘funniest people I know’.

The Roots Mural Project

I’m working on a pretty big project with the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program. We’re creating a mural in honor of The Legendary Roots Crew – one of my favorite bands. It’s a pretty dope project to be involved in. I’m working with Amber Design Collective – a Philly based group of accomplished muralists and artists.

I’ll be posting more about the mural as it goes on. We’re still in the beginning stages as of now. Here are a few pics of from the project so far:
